ABSTRACT
Prosthetic rehabilitation of patients after
surgical and adjuvant treatment of craniofacial
region tumors is challenging for both the clinician
and the dental technician. Extensive surgical
procedures and unfavorable tissue conditions
limit the possibilities of prosthetic treatment.
Edentulous patients who have undergone
maxillary resection due to cancer and require
obturator prostheses also pose a significant
challenge. This paper describes a case of a
patient with an edentulous maxilla for whom a
3D-printed hollow bulb obturator, detachable
from the denture, was fabricated.
