ABSTRACT

Nowadays, digital technologies are widely used and researched in medicine and dentistry. Digital dentistry (DD) is a tool used to convert physical data into digital one, whereas artificial intelligence (AI) is an innovation primarily concerned with data analysis and interpretation. The aim of the study is to systematize current knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence in prostodontics. A literature review was conducted using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases. This article presents the possibilities offered by the use of artificial intelligence throughout prosthetic treatment.
