Periodontal disease in wind instrumentalists represents a significant challenge for clinicians. The specific forces generated during musical performance impose additional requirements on prosthetic restorations regarding stability and precise reconstruction of occlusal-phonetic conditions. This paper presents the process of interdisciplinary rehabilitation of a professional wind musician diagnosed with generalized, severe periodontitis. Due to pathological tooth mobility and the presence of infectious foci, the initial phase of treatment involved oral sanation combined with immediate prosthodontic treatment. Provision of immediate dentures aimed to optimize the healing process, ensure morphological tissue stabilization, and maintain professional career continuity. During the second stage of treatment, tooth arrangement in the final prostheses was verified directly using the instrument’s mouthpiece. Thus it was possible to obtain full stability of the restorations despite the impact of external nonphysiological forces generated by the mouthpiece, while simultaneously ensuring proper soft tissue support and comfort in forming the embouchure. The applied approach, combining periodontal, surgical and prosthodontic procedures, resulted in satisfactory functional and aesthetic outcome, while preserving the patient’s psychological and professional well-being.
